With the right people, tools, and decades of experience, we can configure and build a homogenizer tailored specifically to your application—not just whatever setup the previous owner used.
As authorized distributors for APV Homogenizers through SPX Flow, we have direct access to OEM parts and factory support, allowing us to provide expert guidance along with top-quality parts and service. If you have an idle Gaulin unit collecting dust, we can perform a complete shop rebuild to bring it back to life. With over 30 years of experience, our work delivers results that rival factory refurbishment.
Homogenizer Rebuild
Wet-End Rebuilds
- Complete disassembly of the cylinder block, including removal of all studs, inspection of threads, and thorough polishing prior to assembly.
- Replacement or rebuilding of all internal cylinder components, including plungers, packing, adjusting rings, springs, and related parts.
- Full rebuild of the homogenizing valve(s) with new seats, elastomers, and all new or precision-reground valve components.
- Pressure testing performed in-shop, with the option for customer witness upon request.
Drive-End Rebuilds
- Drive-end surface stripped and repainted, restoring the mid-steel exterior finish.
- Complete rebuild of the drive-end, including inspection, repair, or replacement of all drive components, seats and bearings.
- All bearing surfaces inspected and restored to meet factory-recommended tolerances.
- Hydraulic and lubrication systems replaced or rebuilt, where applicable, using new or reconditioned components.
- Motor tested under load and inspected, with repairs performed as needed to ensure reliable operation.
We Also Provide
- Comprehensive testing of each rebuilt machine at full operating pressure ensures performance and reliability.
- Cosmetic polishing of stainless steel surfaces is performed as needed, and all adjustable legs are loosened for easy installation.
- Skid-mounted packaging includes protective wrapping and secure flatbed loading for safe transport.
- Rebuild workmanship is backed by a one-year warranty, and the cylinder block is guaranteed to be sound and operational upon arrival.
In addition to in-shop rebuilds, our team of experienced homogenizer mechanics is available for field service on APV-Gaulin homogenizers. We offer scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) visits and can often respond to emergency service requests, depending on availability.
